Dr. Mary L. Trump Endorses Rep. Dr. Jasmine Clark for GA-13
LILBURN, GA– Today, Rep. Dr. Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn), a microbiologist, Emory University
biology professor, and candidate for Congress, announced that her campaign for Georgia’s 13th
Congressional District has been endorsed by Dr. Mary L. Trump, the niece turned critic of
President Donald Trump.

“In this moment , we need our strongest fighters in Congress who are willing to stand up to my uncle, Donald Trump. I’ve gotten to know Jasmine and believe that she has what it takes to fight back against Donald and MAGA Republicans in Congress , because the best way to push back against lies is to do your research and come armed with fact–and I firmly believe that Jasmine is someone who has the strength and skill to do just that,” said Dr. Trump.

“I am honored to be endorsed by Dr. Mary L. Trump, a brave individual who stood up to her own family for the good of our country. I got into this race to fight back against Donald Trump and the MAGA agenda and am delighted that someone who knows the President so intimately believes so strongly in our fight,” said Rep. Dr. Clark

Mary Trump joins 17 Georgia State Representatives and Vote Mama in endorsing Rep. Dr. Clark’s
campaign for Congress.

In addition to her legislative service, Dr. Clark serves as an Assistant Professor of Biology, working with undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral students. Born and raised in Georgia and a longtime resident of Lilburn, Jasmine is raising her daughter, Jayda, who attends Gwinnett County Public Schools, and her son Jacobe who is a sophomore in college. She is a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Lilburn.
