With more than $152,000 raised from nearly 2,500 individual donors, no personal loans or corporate PAC money , and an average donation of just $46, R p. Dr . Clark cements herself as the frontrunner f or the 13th Congressional District.

LILBURN, GA– Today, Rep. Dr. Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn), a microbiologist, Emory University biology professor, and candidate for Congress, announced that her campaign for Georgia’s 13th Congressional District raised more than $152,000 in Q3, more than every other candidate in the field, including the 20+ year incumbent Congressman.

“I am floored by the outpouring of support that this campaign received last quarter,” said Rep. Dr. Clark. “When we launched this campaign in June, we knew this fight wouldn’t be easy. But, as soon as we started, we found that our message of standing up for science and facts, while fighting back loudly against this extreme administration, has resonated with everyday people all across this district.”

“There’s one candidate in this race who has the grassroots support to win this seat and bring a new style of leadership to Washington–and that’s Dr. Jasmine Clark,” said Jake Field, Rep. Dr. Clark’s Campaign Manager.

“With more than 2,500 donors, not a cent of corporate PAC money, nor any inflated personal loans, Rep. Dr. Clark has put together a professional campaign that is well on the path to victory.”

The 22 year incumbent, Rep. David Scott, raised just $146 from donors contributing less than $200 and the rest of his money came from DC corporate PACs and special interest groups and a personal loan of $70,000. Rep. Dr. Clark still was able to outraise him among donors by more than $40,000.
